TREATMENT

Microneedling

Microneedling, also known as percutaneous collagen induction therapy, leverages the skin’s natural ability to heal itself after being slightly injured. At Avané Clinic, we utilise advanced technology, including derma pens and derma rollers, to perform this treatment. These devices feature 12-to-36-minute needles that can be adjusted from 0.5 to 2.5 mm in size, allowing precise application and optimal results. The treatment also involves the use of high-quality serums tailored to each client’s specific needs.

How does Microneedling work?

Microneedling creates micro-injuries in the skin, triggering collagen and elastin production to reduce wrinkles, scars, and imperfections. At Avané Clinic, we use derma rollers and pens for precise penetration, enhanced by exosomes—tiny vesicles with growth factors that boost skin repair. A nutrient-rich serum and exosomes are applied to the skin, maximizing the rejuvenation process.

What to expect during microneedling treatment?

The treatment begins with a consultation to understand your skin concerns and goals. On the day of the procedure, a numbing cream is applied to the treatment area to reduce any discomfort. After half an hour, the skin is cleansed, and the microneedling begins. The derma roller or pen is used to create controlled micro-injuries at different depths, depending on the area being treated. A serum containing hyaluronic acid, antioxidants, vitamins, and nutrients is then applied to the skin to enhance the treatment’s effectiveness. The entire procedure takes approximately two hours.

Results and benefits of Microneedling.

The treatment helps to reduce dull complexion and enhance brighter, healthier skin, effectively diminishing the dark spots left by acne. It also conceals signs of ageing, reducing wrinkles and fine lines. With a recovery period of just 2 to 3 days, you can quickly return to your normal routine.
