MIRApeel is an outpatient procedure. During the procedure, a three-stage process is adapted. The first step involves Hydra-Dermabrasion, where the dermatologist uses a specially made, handheld device with a diamond-shaped tip to exfoliate the skin. This helps to remove the damaged skin, revealing a healthier and younger skin layer. As the exfoliation happens, the dirt and debris are gently sucked through the pores and the skin is infused with active ingredients. This leaves the skin cleansed and well-nourished. The second step is micro-infusion, which uses microneedling to infuse serums into the skin. This involves rolling tiny needles of about 0.25mm along the skin, while simultaneously allowing serums to penetrate deep into the skin. The serums lower the skin’s pH and break the bindings of the dead skin. It also activates the skin’s natural wound healing response and stimulates collagen growth.
